  • FIELD TESTED

"Previously, we evaluated point solutions for data context and AI agents separately. Both on their own were strong. But the moment you run agents on top of live, contextual logistics visibility data, the combination is something categorically different. Agents that act on real-time transport data don't guess; they decide. That's not an incremental improvement to how we operate; it's a step-change in what we can do, which is why we co-developed this with LSP44."

"Lineage is one of the first LSPs to work LSP44's AI Dispatch Agent in live production, using automated carrier outreach to recover missing shipment identifiers and reduce manual ops intervention on FTL loads. For a cold-chain and warehousing operator where freight execution accuracy directly affects perishable inventory, the ability to proactively resolve tracking gaps before they become service failures is a meaningful operational advantage. LSP44 gives Lineage automation where freight exceptions are highest-stakes".

“LSP44's 150+ carrier network, combined with LTL Documents automation including imaging and BOL retrieval, means AFS can go live with a new enterprise shipper in days not months. That speed-to-value directly translates into faster revenue recognition and lower implementation cost per customer”

"What's unique about our setup with LSP44 is that we operate on multiple both of the network. We use it to track LTL and FTL loads as an LSP, and our own fleet is connected as a carrier for FTL shipments. That means our customers get end-to-end visibility through the same platform we're already running on. It's not just a tool for us, it's how we close the tracking loop for our customers."

“Here at Custom Companies, we fully trust LSP44 to manage our carrier API relationships. We leverage LSP44's integration pipeline to add carriers on an as-needed basis, keeping our carrier network competitive without a dedicated integrations team. p44 has as the scalability to manage and add carrier access alongside our business growth”.

FROM THE FOUNDER

Why I started LSP44

project44 started as a data as a service company. The idea was information symmetry between every party in the ecosystem, the connective tissue, with predictive and prescriptive analytics built on what passed through it. Our first customers were logistics service providers, and the model worked well.

Then we went to the shippers, and they did not understand data as a service. They said, I really just want to know where my truck or container is and what time it’s going to arrive, and I need to log into an application and see it. Building that interface on top of the data platform was easy, and it took us down an arc that COVID poured fuel on.

At the same time the LSPs were living through a long freight recession with no capex to spend. We got very good at understanding a shipper’s digitalization goals, and through that process we lost some of our capabilities of understanding LSPs, on the product side and on the customer side. We had lost touch a bit with that cohort of customers.

We are a cash flow positive business with a very talented team that was being suboptimally leveraged. So we went back to the customers we think are the first movers in this industry and asked what their goals are now.

The platform already solves these problems. It had been over-indexed on the shipper use case and needed its edges smoothed. Our customer-facing teams needed to get back inside the culture of these companies, and we needed forward-deployed engineers who are real software engineers.

That is why we started LSP44. The next 24 months, and maybe just the next 12, will define who wins in this industry more than the last 10 years did. The LSPs that embrace this technology will probably win. The ones that don’t embrace it have a 0% chance.

No. LSP44 and project44 are separate businesses with their own leadership, engineering teams, sales organizations, and product roadmaps. project44 sells applications to enterprise shippers. LSP44 sells AI agent and API infrastructure to logistics service providers, who build it into their own products and sell it under their own brand. Both run on the carrier network and logistics data graph built since 2014.

Yes. The same carrier network, carrier APIs, logistics data graph, and agent stack sit under both businesses. That network reaches more than 280,000 carriers and processes 1.5 billion shipments a year and 706 million carrier events a day. A customer already connected to that network is already connected to the infrastructure LSP44 runs on.

No. LSP44 never competes with its customers, and never resells your data to shippers or puts it into project44’s shipper products. LSP44 holds no freight brokerage authority, no motor carrier authority, no NVOCC license, and no IAC registration, and it does not train models that serve other providers on your data.
